To celebrate the arrival of PayPal’s first credit card in Australia, the PayPal Rewards Card, PayPal Australia is launching the national ‘Points Possibilities’ competition, asking Aussies to share what they would purchase with PayPal Rewards Card points, beginning with the letter ‘P’.
The PayPal Rewards Card1 has a zero annual fee and uncapped rewards points that can be redeemed just about anywhere.2
With so many ways to be rewarded, you’d be spoiled for choice even if you’re only shopping for things that start with the letter ‘P’.
For your chance to win $500 deposited into your PayPal account, show us your possible ‘P’ purchases, in an Instagram newsfeed post or story and tag @PayPalAU, #PointsPossibilities and #PayPalRewardsCard, making sure you’re following @PayPalAU.
The competition kicks off at 9am AEST Monday 23 August, with three $500 prizes awarded each week for four weeks, closing 11.59pm AEST on Sunday 19 September.
You do not need to have a PayPal Rewards Card to be eligible for this competition, but winners must have an active PayPal account in good standing to receive their prize. Terms and Conditions apply.
The PayPal Rewards Card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted online and in store. It earns uncapped rewards points with every eligible purchase, which can be redeemed at over 750,000 businesses globally through PayPal Checkout, or applied to a recent PayPal Rewards Card purchase retrospectively.
Your card will appear in your PayPal wallet as soon as you are approved, ready for online shopping before the physical card is delivered.
All eligible purchases with the PayPal Rewards Card will be covered by Visa’s Zero Liability policy3, while eligible payments made online using PayPal will also be covered by PayPal’s Buyer Protection policy.

Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged by a panel of PayPal Australia employees against the following criteria
(a) Overall quality of the photo, clarity, colour, lighting, exposure and focus, composition
(b) Clarity of participant’s explanation of why they chose their item/s
(c) Creativity and originality
(d) Humour
(e) Audience appeal including the amount of social engagement with the image
(f) Adherence to competition theme
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be (a) a resident of Australia aged eighteen (18) years or over, and not be an employee or contractor, or immediate family member of an employee or contractor, of the Promoter, its related parties, or any third parties associated with this Competition (b) have a valid and active Australian personal PayPal account in good standing (for example, it is not restricted or limited in any way, and does not have a negative balance). You do not need to have a PayPal Rewards Card to be eligible for this Competition. By entering this Competition, the contestants agree to abide by the decisions of the Promoter and its nominated judges, which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the Competition. You may submit as many entries to the Competition as you wish, however you are only eligible to win once under the entire Competition.
