PayPal launches its first online sales event in Australia, in partnership with Click Frenzy
PayPal, Australia’s most trusted way to pay online[i], and Click Frenzy, Australia’s first and most recognised online mega sale operator, have today launched PayPal’s first ever online sales event in Australia, PayPal Fashion Frenzy.
The new 6-day sale event offer customers deals, some up to 70%, across more than 80 of their favourite fashion and beauty brands, with something, and savings, for everyone, from designer fashion and cosmetics to athletic and street wear. This follow’s PayPal’s collaboration as the official partner for Click Frenzy’s ‘The Main Event’ in October last year.
Fashion lovers can dive now and keep an eye on the PayPal Australia and Click Frenzy Instagram channels for new deals until midnight, 9 March.
A $15 PayPal reward will be available to eligible customers who shop from participating PayPal Fashion Frenzy businesses, and checkout with PayPal Pay in 4 for the first time ever.
PayPal’s Senior Director of Consumer, Shane Capron, said: “PayPal is proud to support 150,000 Australian fashion retailers in Australia by providing a trusted, secure, and flexible payments platform. We’re very excited to launch our first online sale event in Australia to help them engage with new and existing customers by showcasing some of the best online deals all in one place. We know this will be well-received by shoppers, as PayPal research shows 82% of Australians shop online sales events, and a third of Australians are shopping sales events to help with current cost-of-living pressures[ii].”
PayPal’s research also shows that checkout preferences can matter as much as discounts, with 37% of Australians having abandoned online purchases because their favourite payment method wasn’t available, rising to 44% of Gen Y.
