PayPal donates $250,000 to assist with flood disaster relief and recovery
PayPal Australia and PayPal Giving Fund AU has also launched an Australian Flood Relief and Recovery campaign.

PayPal is donating a total of $250,000 to charities to assist with the disaster relief and recovery following the record-breaking floods that have devastated Australian communities.

After days of severe storms that put 10 million Australians under weather warnings and forced 18,000 to be evacuated, this natural disaster has destroyed homes, ruined businesses, and caused further hardship for communities impacted by the Black Summer bushfires.

PayPal Australia and PayPal Giving Fund AU has also launched an Australian Flood Relief and Recovery campaign, with 100% of donated funds going to support charities responding to disaster recovery and relief, such as Australian Red Cross, Lifeline and GIVIT, with no deductions or processing fees.

PayPal will also be making a micro-donation opportunity available so that people can donate $1 at checkout to support charities providing flood relief and recovery using our Give At Checkout feature.

Anyone can make a donation via the Australian Flood Relief and Recovery web page.
